I need to post more about the highs of the autism journey. We had no idea how Dylan would do this school year, all new teachers and aides and independence. Third graders are expected to do much more on their own. And Dylan is rising up to the challenge. He is flying high. One benefit is that his neurologist put him on an anti-anxiety med. This is helping Dylan SOOO much. He is more relaxed, confident, less agitated, hardly screams and can focus better. I had no idea how high his anxiety must have been. No wonder he screamed so much in the past. He's doing great on it. I couldn't be more thrilled with how well he is doing.
